UBC
Forest Ecosystem Management Simulation Group, headed by Dr. Hamish
Kimmins, develops and applies ecosystem models at the landscape and
stand level, as well as spatially explicit representations of ecosystem
processes and individual trees, to inform forest management decisions
and facilitate sustainable forestry.
